About Me

My photo
Pastor Bill Wendell
LaPorte , Ohio, United States
My name is Bill Wendell. I am blessed to be a husband and daddy. My wife's name is Brittany Wendell and she is the greatest wife ever. My sons names are William Isaac Wendell and Elijah Daniel Wendell! The title of this blog has been partially borrowed from my younger brother's blog, Pat Wendell. His is entitled The Noble Wanderer because his first name means nobility and our last name means wanderer. I am fortunate to be an elder in the Est Ohio United Methodist Church. In our denomination we are appointed wherever the bishop sends us. Therefore, I am truly a 'Wandering Pastor.' Wandering the land of East Ohio to know Christ and to make Him known! I am abundantly blessed to have wandered into a wonderful community called LaPorte UMC. It also helps me to remember that, as Christians, our citizenship is ultimately in the Kingdom of Heaven (Phil 3:20). Whereas other citizenship causes separation being a citizen of heaven drives us all to engage. Engage by wandering around this world that can be so dark and allow His marvelous light to shine through us!
